This jacket screen printed by Bob Adams to wear during his presentations Born in 1914, Bob was an avid bird watcher and an early member of the Benjamin F. Goss Bird Club.

The club formally organized in the 1930’s, and is named after a Wisconsin assembly member and 19th century bird enthusiast Benjamin F. Goss. The longest running birding club in the state, the group promotes knowledge and appreciation of birds through education, research, preservation and conservation. Bird clubs, like this one, in the 20th and 21st century have become part of ‘citizen science’ initiatives supporting academic researchers and natural resource management.
