Description

Waukesha public and private high schools have experienced outstanding success in sports competitions. Boys and girls teams have participated in an astounding number of state championships. Each championship was celebrated in different ways through the years - including pep rallies, community parades, and media recognition. After Waukesha High School South Campus opened in 1957, the resulting sports teams were sometimes indomitable. The swim teams of the 1950s and 1960s earned numerous state championships.

In addition, Catholic Memorial High School experienced outstanding success in many sports.

This T-shirt represents the Waukesha North 1983 High School football team’s appearance at the State Championship at Camp Randall. The team lost in a close game to D. C. Everest.
